Food is really good. I had the chicken sandwich and fries and the fries were amazing! Inside could use some updating

Bacon and home fries were cold. And toast actually tasted stale.....

A good spot for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We stopped in for breakfast. The service was good and the meals arrived quickly. They have a number of options for breakfast. If you are planning to go early in the morning, you may have to wait. It is out on County Road 42 and nice local spot that has been here for years. Enjoy!

Been coming here since i was a little kid. Love it!

It's still really busy, but the quality has gone down a bit. Hash browns were a bit hard, bit the seasoning was delicious. Eggs seem smaller then last time and bacon was a bit mushy. I may be upset about the food because the server was kinda rude and seemed rushed with us. Even paying she kinda sighed and asked if we wanted out change. I almost said yes, but then I realised we all have bad days. Will give it another try

The BLT special was good. Lots of bacon. My daughter and my friend LOVED the fries. Our Caesar Side Salads were large, fresh and tasty.

Ordered breakfast at 7pm. Food was fast and delicious. Service was great.

Very dirty. Homefries are good but nothing else is. Took three tries to get a clean cup. When I put in creamer, it was spoiled so it turned my coffee. Don't ever see myself going back!!

Greasy spoon with very large portions (the farm) and average pricing. Consistently good breakfast. Never had their lunch menu.

Went with a coupon from the 2019 bestseller book. They don't honor it but only told me so when I went to pay, not when I informed them of my coupon before I ordered. Don't put a coupon in the book if you won't honor it!!!

I hadn't been in a while, and popped in for breakfast with the family. It's pretty ok. The farm used to be epic, but is now unimpressive. Overall it's fine, but there are too many other great options for breakfast. Waitress was very friendly.

Food came out quick but wasn't spectacular. The chicken fingers were straight out of a box, my fries were good. My mom said her potatoes tasted like they had been made earlier and only reheated when she ordered her food

This is probally one of the cheapest places in windsor to get a decient breakfast. Larhe portions and friendly staff. Took a star off for the dated decor/lack of renovations to this place.

Mixed feelings. Nice place service is always good but food can be hit or miss. Last meal I had was awesome (breakfast wrap), my youngest loved her breakfast grilled cheese, but, my oldest got fish and chips and almost wouldn't eat it. Large portions were just breading. One corner we couldn't get a fork through and she said the fish had no taste. So two out of three meals were awesome but they one was rather bad.

This restaurant really makes you feel at home. From the friendly staff to the delicious meals, everything is incredible. Its not too pricey and the quality is very good. I have been here multiple times and have never left without a smile on my face. I would recommend it to anyone.

I have been coming to the whistling kettle for years, I always come for the fried chicken...I bring it home to Calgary Alberta everytime!!!! I hope they never change their recipe!!!!

While the environment leaves much to be desired, the breakfast was quick, hot, tasty and affordable. The generous serving size and always-full coffee means I'll definitely be back.
